34 Weeks...Take 2

21 June 2013

Baby's the size of a butternut squash!
He's recognizing and reacting to simple songs. He's also urinating about a pint a day...(that was a lovely tidbit, eh?!?)
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 34 Weeks
Size of baby: Butternut Squash
Maternity Clothes: Yes.
Gender: It's a baby BOY!!! Jack Cameron Williamson
Movement: He is quite an active little boy!
Sleep: I'm starting to get into a little bit of the insomnia phase. I know it's good prep for when Jack comes, but I do like my sleep. It makes for a tired Mama throughout the day.
What I MissSleeping on my back...and it's uncomfortable to pick things up off the floor.
Cravings: Not too much lately.
Symptoms: I got a little bit of pregnancy-related eczema on my hands recently. It's not really of any concern, it's just not pretty. I have a knack for getting all the 'weird' pregnancy side effects.
Best Moment This Week: I love seeing his name and initials on some of the things I've been sewing. It's getting pretty stankin' real that he is going to be here...soon!

Lately I'm just feeling huge. :) I'm now in 'that part' of this pregnancy. I had my 34 week doctor visit the other day and she was pretty concerned about my blood pressure being high. Yall it was 102/82...so I'm not super concerned. I've never had high blood pressure, not even during pregnancy, so I suppose this was just a bit higher than normal. But, we're not too concerned. Although in part I feel a little justified, if she wanted to hear a list of all the things I'm stressing/worrying about/trying to get accomplished right now, it may very well make perfect sense.

Sorry I'm behind on posts this week. Tomorrow (I guess technically today, since it's 1am, we are leaving to head to Asheville for the weekend. This marks the end of my 3-week-long-marathon-sewing session. I've been working up until the very end to squeeze everything in...and I think I made it! Of course, I can always find more to do, but everything that I really wanted to do...I did. I am SO tired. Ha!

I am beyond excited to be heading home to Asheville for a few days. I miss it terribly. After we return I promise to return to my regular posting schedule. I know it's been a while since I've been on my schedule, but I've had lots to do. I've got pictures of another of Karis' new outfits to share with you...and of course I will have to share all about our Asheville experience.
