31 Weeks...Take 2

Baby's the size of a pineapple! 

He's going through major brain and nerve development; also eye development, his irises now react to light. All five of his sense are in working order. 

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 31 Weeks

Size of baby: Cucumber

Maternity Clothes: Yes. 

Gender: It's a baby BOY!!! Jack Cameron Williamson

Movement: He is still very active in the morning and at a night, but I'm feeling him a lot throughout the day. His movements are getting bigger and stronger!  

Sleep: About the same...not great, but I'm used to it now. 

What I Miss: Sleeping on my back...and it's uncomfortable to pick things up off the floor. :)

Cravings: Not too much lately. 

Symptoms: Just the regular things expected with being nearly 8 months pregnant. :) 

Best Moment This Week: Jack continues to be more active and it is fun to feel him everyday!

I am SO sorry that the blog has been so lack-luster lately. It's really been a combination of things. We have had 3 different couple friends all visit Myrtle Beach within the last couple weeks. We took a trip to Charlotte and this past weekend Karis and I made a whirlwind 24-hour trip to Spartanburg/Asheville. We have been busy! 

Also, I've been working through my list of sewing projects for Karis...you are going to get to see some things soon. I've got TONS more to do for her and Jack both, but I think I've just about got everything organized and made decisions about all my projects. (Sometimes that takes just as long as the actual sewing or stitching.) Here's a sneak peek at an outfit that I just made for Karis. I love it! You will see it soon. 

 

Last night we had our maternity pictures done. I had such big dreams of them really being family photos of the three of us, plus Baby Jack (in the belly). But, Karis, in all her 21 months of glory had different plans. She was so not interested in pictures at all. My sweet, precious, usually-quite-compliant, practically-perfect-in-every-way, Baby Girl was just not feeling it. It made me really sad. I know we still got plenty of great pictures, it's just not what I had envisioned. Apparently babies act however they want sometimes, even if it's not in your plans. I still love her more than words can say. We will see how the pictures turn out...I'm excited. 

Let's see what else has kept me busy...oh yeah! scroll back up to the top of this post. I've been busy growing a baby. :) That and keeping up with a busy toddler. I hope to get some pictures of Karis in a couple new outfits in the next 2 days, then you will see them posted here. Until then...
