29 Weeks...Take 2

15 May 2013

Baby's the size of an acorn squash!
He's getting a little cramped in there, since he's growing so fast. He's growing white fat deposits under his skin, and his energy is surging because of it.

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 29 Weeks
Size of baby: Acorn Squash
Maternity Clothes: Yes.
Gender: It's a baby BOY!!! Jack Cameron Williamson
Movement: Yes, I feel him everyday...especially first thing in the morning and at night.
Sleep: About the same...not great, but I'm used to it now.
What I MissSleeping on my back...and it's becoming more uncomfortable to pick things up off the floor. :)
Cravings: Not too much lately.
Symptoms: I have had horrible back pain lately. I know it's normal and it's my body stretching and adjusting, but I don't really remember it hurting this much with Karis.
Best Moment This Week: Jack is moving more and more and becoming more active with his movements. I love feeling him and dreaming about who he will become!
In some ways 29 weeks seems anti-climactic...it's kinda like turning 29. At 28 weeks, it was exciting to be in the third trimester, and 30 weeks is fun because it sounds like it's getting even closer to the end. This seems to be just another week along this journey. It's been a busy week, and I'm thankful that we still have time before Baby Boy makes his appearance as we still have a lot to do.

I can tell I'm hitting the third trimester, I'm starting to get more tired, especially in the afternoons. Some days I embrace it and allow myself to rest and relax while Karis is sleeping...after all I never had this opportunity when she was a baby like most moms do. But, most of the time I've got too much to do. I'm in the midst of trying to get Karis a spring/summer wardrobe made up. Then, I need to get some things sewn for sweet Baby Jack. Mama's busy!
