21 Weeks...Take 2

20 March 2013

Baby's now the size of a banana!
Baby's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion, and dead cells), which will fill the first diaper after birth. ((I realize that is totally disgusting, but I just copy exactly what they send me as a description, so there you have it. :))

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 21 Weeks
Size of baby: Banana
Total Weight Gain: 8 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Yes.
Gender: It's a baby BOY!!!
Movement: I get to feel Little Man move every day.

Sleep: I think I'm just about used to sleeping on my side. It's definitely becoming more natural.
What I Miss: Sleeping on my back...and it's becoming more uncomfortable to pick things up off the floor. :)
Cravings: Nothing really.
Symptoms: I still get tired, but overall I am feeling really good.
Best Moment this Week: John got to feel Baby Boy move yesterday for the first time. It's still such small movements on the outside, but it's fun for him to feel his son too.
