Down to the Water

A few weeks ago we had some unseasonably, but certainly not uninvited, warm weather. As in, it was 70 degrees...it was fantastic. Karis and I seized this opportunity to walk down to the beach to hang out. Up until this point Karis had only been to the beach once, when she was 10 months old, so I wasn't sure what she was going to think. Oh. My. Word. She LOVES it! When it warms up, we will probably be out there every day. This girl LOVES to play in the sand.

After we played in the sand for a while, we took a walk down to the water. She was so funny. 

Also, let me go ahead and state, in case you are not aware, that my daughter is a bit obsessed with accessories. She wears necklaces most of the time when we leave the house. She LOVES to carry a purse around...especially with keys and a phone in it. She loves bags in general. This day was no exception. She would NOT put this bag down or let me carry it, she had to do it. Oh yeah, she's also super independent. :)

Oh, that girl. She melts me.
