18 Weeks...Take 2

27 February 2013

Baby's now the size of a sweet potato!
Baby's become amazingly mobile, passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking, and swallowing. Baby is finally big enough that I'll soon be able to feel his/her movements.

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 18 Weeks
Size of baby: Sweet Potato
Total Weight Gain: 4-5 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: I have started to wear maternity pants a little bit. My normal clothes still fit fine, it's just so much more comfortable to have an elastic waist. :)
Gender: We find out March 7!
Movement: I can feel little one move around a little bit every now and then!
Sleep: It's pretty typical for being pregnant. Not the best, but I'm thankful for it.

What I Miss: Sleeping on my back.
Cravings: Mexican. It was chips and queso for weeks, now I'm happy within that genre (which is much better for the calorie count!)
Symptoms: I'm feeling much better these days. My nausea and sickness seem to be behind me...hooray! I get pretty sleepy each afternoon, but that's expected.
Best Moment this Week: Hmm...hard to say. We traveled to Pensacola to see John's parents this weekend, now Karis and I are in Winter Springs with my family. So, I guess I would say, seeing family.

I hadn't posted any pictures yet, so here you have it. This is actually a 17-week picture, but I didn't get to post it last week.

And just for kicks...here is a comparison of me at 17-weeks with Karis vs. 17-weeks with Baby #2.
Yeah, the belly is definitely much bigger this time around!

So, there you have it. I actually did a pregnancy update. Woo hoo!!
