18 Weeks

21 March 2011

Baby's now the size of a sweet potato!
Baby's become amazingly mobile, passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking, and swallowing. Baby is finally big enough that I'll soon be able to feel his/her movements.

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 18 Weeks
Size of baby: Sweet Potato
Total Weight Gain: 6-7 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: I have started to wear maternity pants a little bit. My normal clothes still fit fine, it's just so much more comfortable to have an elastic waist. :)
Gender: We find out April 1!
Movement: Not yet.
Sleep: I'm getting more used to not being able to sleep on my back. I've got a wedge pillow that I keep behind me that helps me to not get flat on it, but it's still a process.
What I Miss
: Sleeping on my back.
Cravings: Nothing really...definitely not anything weird though.
Symptoms: I still get tired, but overall I am feeling much better.
Best Moment this Week: I guess the planning that Bubba and I are doing to prepare for our little one. It's very fun to know we will be a family of 3 soon.

I don't have a whole lot extra to add this week. It's been a super long and busy day today. I've just about finished dinner and Bubba is on his way home...yay! Lately we have been talking about our budget and trying to figure out how that will look when we have a baby in the house. We are also talking about the nursery, but we are waiting to do anything until we find out whether Baby Williamson is a boy or girl. Next Friday...we can hardly stand the wait!
