15 Weeks

28 February 2011

Baby's now the size of a naval orange!
Continuing the march toward normal proportions, baby's legs now out-measure his arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. The fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb.

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 15 Weeks
Size of baby: Naval Orange
Total Weight Gain: 3 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: I am still wearing all my normal clothes. I still don't really look pregnant, but I do like to wear bigger shirts.
Gender: Don't know yet.
Movement: Not yet, although last night I swear I felt a little flutter while I was laying in bed.
Sleep: This is becoming more of a challenge. I really like to sleep on my back, so the constant back and forth from side to side is not my favorite.
What I Miss: I guess just sleeping on my back.
Cravings: Nothing really. Yesterday we had the Food Network on and everything was making my mouth water. I definitely am feeling a lot better in this area.
Symptoms: I still get tired, but overall I am feeling much better. Something new this week is reflux, which I get pretty much after every meal. This is something totally new to me.
Best Moment this Week: Hasn't happened yet, but on Wednesday we go to the doctor for the sonogram, I look forward to actually hearing the heartbeat.

By the way, I totally stole this list from Kelly's Korner, which is a blog I love. She is pregnant and I love the way she lists off each of these things each week. So, I can't claim creative ownership over my list, but will give Kelly the credit.
